Each team member is supposed to be involved – they need to be informed about the purpose and goals of each other. As far the locations of the team members can differ, some special way of communication is to be established and used by all of them. In order for the members of the team not to judge others according to their own standards, they are supposed to have common team values, standards and behaviors. All the team members are to be connected personally. (As they do not have the chance to communicate after their workdays they at least have to meet in person before the project starts).

Diversity – that is uniqueness of each team member is to be valued and respected as well. What is more, people should be aware of who they work for and report to – the map of stakeholders is necessary here. And finally, their progress is indispensably supposed to be evaluated. Virtual teams are very convenient but are to be guided and led properly to be successful…
